Revelation 21:1

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Revelation 21:1

As I understand the Scriptures, “there was no more sea” indicates that we have come full circle.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

In the beginning, God created heaven and earth without separation, God dwelt within and in fellowship with his creation. Something happened where God decided to change and make a separation. God buried the earth under the great deep, water. (Satan’s rebellion)

Genesis 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

2 Peter 3:5-7 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

God did not create the earth in vain without form but to be habitable.

Isaiah 45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

The six days are not the original creation but the recreation/restoration with the earth in its new position buried under the water separating it from God. This is what baptism symbolizes; we are dead and buried separated from God and must be resurrected up through the water into fellowship with him again. 2 Peter 3 is not Noah’s flood.

Revelations 21 is the creation of things back to what they were supposed to be, no separation from God: God dwelling within and in fellowship with his creation. The sea that is no more is the great deep that separated the earth from heaven.
