Sins are due to the thoughts and intents of our hearts and minds.
James 1:14-15 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
Knowing to do good and not desiring to do it is sin unto us.
Sins begin with our lust.

Our sinful actions are the product of our sinful hearts and minds.
